Dr Sherif Elsaraj

General Dentist

Dr. Elsaraj, also known amongst his colleagues and patients as “Dr. E”, is a graduate of the 2010 DMD program at the University of Manitoba. Dr. E has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Carleton University and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of Manitoba. In 2012, he completed a year residency in the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program at the University of Toronto.

He is a published author in well-respected scientific journals. Dr. E has over 400 continuing education hours in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders and Dental Sleep Therapy and holds a Ph.D. in Craniofacial Pain and Health Sciences from McGill University. He currently supervises residents of the Orofacial Pain Clinic in the Jewish General Hospital.

Dr. E is an active member of the Canadian, Manitoban, Ontario Dental Associations and the Order des Dentistes du Quebec. Dr. E is currently serving on the CDA and ODA council, Ottawa Dental Society Continuing Education committee, Nepean Political Contact dentist, a consultant for the Oral Health Group and an advisor for the Canadian Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines.
Dr Muna Osman

General Dentist

Dr. Muna Osman is a General Dentist who earned her DMD degree in 2014 from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines, and later completed the DDS Advanced Placement Program at the University of Alberta, graduating in June 2022. She is the recipient of the Arthur D. Cumming Medal for outstanding merit in dentistry for children, the University of Alberta Leadership Award, and multiple awards for clinical excellence.

Dr. Osman enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in children’s dentistry. Known for her calm and gentle approach, she prioritizes patient comfort and focuses on creating positive, stress-free dental experiences—especially for young and anxious patients. She strongly believes in prevention-based care and patient education to support long-term oral health. Dr. Osman is fluent in English, Arabic, and Tigrigna.

Outside of the clinic, she is a mother of two and enjoys spending her time with her children, staying busy with various family activities.
Dr Mawj Brykea

General Dentist

Dr. Mawj embarked on a journey to fulfill her aspiration of becoming a dentist in Australia after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology (Honours) at Carleton University in Ottawa.

Throughout her training, Dr. Mawj had the opportunity to offer general dentistry services to underserved communities in various regions of Australia. She has acquired a wide range of skills, with a particular emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Mawj indulges in her passions for cooking diverse cuisines, exploring new destinations, and engaging in stand-up paddling.
Dr Leila Ebrahimpoor

General Dentist

Dr. Leila Ebrahimpoor graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Tehran University in 1999 and Dalhousie University in 2006. She has also received certificates in replacing missing teeth with dental implants and bone grafting from the Nobel Biocare Training Institute, as well as a certificate in conscious sedation from the Academy of General Dentistry.

As a member of the Ottawa Dental Society, the Ontario Dental Association, the College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Dr. Ebrahimpoor is a strong believer in continuing education and prevention in dentistry. She offers high-quality, gentle, and compassionate care for all of her patients.
Dr Asmaa Rachid

General Dentist

Dr. Asmaa Rachid is a general dentist with over a decade of clinical experience, whose practice is primarily focused on surgical dentistry. She has intentionally limited her scope to surgical procedures ranging from wisdom teeth extractions to implant placement, allowing her to deliver highly skilled, focused care in this field.

Dr. Rachid provides a full spectrum of sedation options, including IV sedation, to help with patient comfort and creating a stress-free experience during procedures. Her calm, patient-centered approach helps even the most anxious patients feel at ease.Her extensive experience, combined with advanced training, enables her to manage complex and challenging cases, including difficult crown restorations and root canal treatments. She is known for her precision, clinical judgment, and ability to confidently handle medically and technically demanding situations.

Dr. Rachid completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Manitoba, where she received comprehensive hospital-based training. During her residency, she gained advanced experience in oral surgery, IV sedation, and the management of medically compromised patients, further strengthening her surgical expertise. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honours in 2010 from The International University for Science and Technology in Syria. After returning to Canada, she successfully completed the dental equivalency process and has been practicing in Ottawa since 2015. She has also completed additional advanced training in oral surgery and implant dentistry in Toronto.

Dr. Rachid is deeply committed to community service. She founded and participated in several dental outreach initiatives and mission trips, providing essential dental care to underserved communities with limited access to treatment. She also co-founded Canadian Dentists for Refugees, an initiative dedicated to offering free dental care to newly arrived refugees across Canada.

In addition, Dr. Rachid actively volunteers with the Ottawa Dental Society, where she serves on multiple committees. Through this involvement, she contributes to continuing education initiatives, professional development, and strengthening the dental community.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rachid is a certified yoga instructor and wellness advocate. She enjoys staying active, traveling, reading, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle centered on health and personal growth.

Dr. Rachid believes that dentistry is not only about treating disease, but about empowering patients to feel confident, healthy, and cared for. Dr. Rachid speaks English and Arabic.
